The Channel Islands YMCA is an association of seven YMCA branches serving Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.
Our association of YMCA’s is one of over 960 YMCA of the USA member associations. YMCA of the USA represents over 2, 350 YMCA branches nation wide
Mission Statement
The Channel Islands Association of YMCA’s is a charitable organization which provides programs based upon Christian principles to men women and children of all ages, races, religious beliefs and economic status, in order to develop and enrich the spirit, mind, and body.

At the YMCA good character and values are an important part of everything we do. By teaching, enforcing, advocating, and modeling the six pillars of character, we build strong kids, strong families, and a stronger community for all.
Who We Serve
The Channel Islands YMCA is a non-profit association of men, women and children of all ages, races, ethnic groups, economic conditions and religious affiliations serving more than 60,000 individuals each year.
Financial Assistance
Our financial assistance policies ensure that no one is turned away for reasons of inability to pay.
Each branch has financial assistance policies that allow us to work with community members to the best of our ability in order to continue to provide our services and programs to all who are interested, regardless of financial status.
Giving
Charitable donations to the YMCA make a positive and profound impact to many individuals and families in our community. It is through these donations that we are able to continue to offer our services to many who face a variety of financial hardships.
Gifts may be directed to benefit the overall work of the Channel Islands YMCA, or can be designated to support a particular branch or program.
The Channel Islands YMCA is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

All Channel Islands YMCA policies have been created to ensure a safe, pleasant, values based experience for all.
Each Channel Islands YMCA branch is responsible for establishing and enforcing branch specific policies and procedures.
