Welcome to the Channel Islands YMCA. We have been building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities since 1887.  The Channel Islands YMCA is a charitable organization of seven YMCA branches serving Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

Our Mission Statement

The Channel Islands YMCA is a charitable organization providing programs based upon Christian principles to men women and children of all ages, races, religious beliefs and economic status to develop and enrich the spirit, mind, and body.


Who We Serve

The Channel Islands YMCA is a non-profit association of men, women and children of all ages, races, ethnic groups, economic conditions and religious affiliations serving more than 60,000 individuals each year in the Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.

At the Channel Islands YMCA, good character and values are an important part of everything we do, from child care to fitness classes to teen programs. By teaching, enforcing, advocating, and modeling the six pillars of character, we build strong kids, strong families, and a strong communities.
