Stuart C. Gildred Family YMCA, part of the Channel Islands YMCA, has opened its Annual Support Campaign with this year’s fundraising goal set at $180,000. Jeanmarie Harty, vice chair of the Stuart C. Gildred Family YMCA Board, is the 2024 annual campaign chair. The campaign was launched Feb. 1 with an in-person event at the YMCA.

The Lompoc Family YMCA is aiming to raise $100,000 during the organization's annual fundraising campaign that officially kicks off Feb. 1 at PCH Street Wine Lounge and Salon in downtown Lompoc.

A local YMCA service for homeless young adults has made big strides since it’s opening day. Last year, the Youth & Family Services YMCA in Santa Barbara opened its newest location, the Haley Street Navigation Center. It now serves as the only day-time drop-in center for young adults up to 24 years old who are experiencing homelessness and housing instability in the city.
