About
The Camarillo Family YMCA provides access to health and wellness information and activities for all
ages. With youth obesity at an all time high and with seniors living
longer lives, the YMCA can play a key role in improving the quality of
life in the community through working to build a healthy spirit, mind
and body for all of its members.
The Camarillo Family YMCA- Hiji Center has a wide variety of adult and senior programs, including
aquatics, aerobics and cardiovascular exercise, weight and
strength training, yoga, basketball and volleyball leagues, triathlon training and more!
Expanded family and youth programs include: Family Fun Nights,
Parents' Night Out, World of Wonder events, The Zone (for kids ages 9-12), summer camps,
sports leagues, Youth Wellness classes (such as tumbling, hip-hop dancing, judo, and more), and child care programs. The new facility
now affords the popular Adventure Guides programs a place for large
gatherings both indoors and outdoors.
The Aquatics Center at the Camarillo Family YMCA is providing
instructional swim programs for all ages, ability levels and interests.
Youth and adult lessons are offered year round as well as special
classes for those with physical limitations. The YMCA is partnering
with the Arthritis Foundation in offering the Twinges in the Hinges
program. Lap swimming is available at all times that the pool is
open with a Masters Swim program offered for the committed adult
swimmer. Family recreation swims are offered daily with special
events and activities to promote family fun and recreation.
The friendly and dedicated staff at the Camarillo Family YMCA eagerly awaits your participation,
so please stop by to see how we can add health, wellness, and fun into your lifestyle. Now is the time to begin your lifetime of YMCA
membership and become part of a worldwide organization that strives
to build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
We look forward to seeing you here!
