Kids to Camp

Each summer over 2,750 children attend Camarillo Family YMCA Summer Camps, and no child is turned away for inability to pay. Thanks to your gifts to the Kids to Camp Campaign, over $10,000 was raised in 2009, which helped send more than 7,000 kids on fun-filled adventures at YCamps Association-wide. Please help our effort for 2010, so that many more children can enjoy new experiences and make memories of a lifetime at a YMCA camp this summer.

With your funds, we introduce kids to new experiences that will help them grow into responsible, successful adults, making the community we love a better place to live. One child at a time. One family at a time. Your contribution makes this happen! This year, the Channel Islands YMCA, with your help, has served more kids and their families than ever before. We provided over $1.3 million in financial assistance to over 4,000 individuals, in addition to subsidizing programs that benefit over 46,000 kids and their families in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.
