Programs: Childcare
Leave your children in good hands with Camarillo Family YMCA licensed Child Care. Available for grades K-6 and Jr. K, the program services the Pleasant Valley School District, University Prep School, and C.A.P.E., and features:
- Homework tutoring
- Structured, developmental activities
- Well-trained, qualified staff who are positive role models
- Operational hours before- and after-school from 6:45am to 6:30pm
- Flexible full-time and part-time schedules
- Transportation to and from many schools in the district to childcare sites located at Las Posas, Dos Caminos, Tierra Linda and La Mariposa schools, & a site servicing Rancho Rosal school at the Camarillo Family YMCA Hiji Center
New low rates for the 2010/2011 school year!
Part time program... starting at $125 per month
Full time program... starting at $350 per month
$40 registration fee per family, 10% sibling discount. The above rates reflect Child Care during school weeks, and may be subject to change. Child care is also available for enrollees during most holidays and schoool breaks for additional fees.
The Camarillo Family YMCA offers Financial Assistance
for families that qualify. Please ask for an Open Doors Application.
Transportation is provided from the following schools:
El Descanso, Los Primeros, Los Senderos, Camarillo Heights, and University Prep School.

STAFF
Our staff spends many hours with your children, so we take that responsibility very seriously. Our staff
training program is especially designed to meet the needs
of school children.
Our site directors and staff are required to attend training in the following areas:
- Youth fitness
- Positive discipline
- CPR/First Aid Certifcation
- Safety & risk management
- Emergency preparedness
- Communication with parents
- Building a strong curriculum
Children's Play Center
Family members, or single parent family members are
welcome to bring their child to the Children's Play Center
while they workout, or enjoy the many activities at the YMCA.
Parents must remain on the premises at all times while their
child is in the play center.
The facility is staffed with loving individuals who will care
for and play with your child. He/she will enjoy both indoor
and outdoor play. We offer arts, crafts, activities, games, story
time, and old-fashioned fun!
Ages: 8 weeks to 10 years old

Diaper changing is not included. Parents will be called away from their workout to change a diaper
