Fitness Orientation
Speak with one of our certified fitness coaches during a complimentary one-time meeting that will help jumpstart your exercise routine and assist you in reaching your ultimate fitness goals. For more information or to sign up, visit or call the Camarillo Family YMCA Welcome Center.
Total Health Consultation
Members can take advantage of two one-hour appointments with a strength and conditioning coach, free of charge! The consultations will help participants get on a healthier fitness routine to achieve their wellness aspirations. The first session will address personal goals and current fitness levels, and will also be an introduction to national exercise guidelines. The second session will teach proper use of fitness room equipment, and develop a guideline for healthy fitness activity. 4-Week Way to WEllness program
This 4-week program, geared for new members, provides participants with 4 small-group consultations with a strength and conditioning coach for extra guidance, feedback and encouragement on their road to wellness. This gentle, yet semi-structured approach to fitness will keep your body challenged and progressing, while providing a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment. 6-week Group training sessions
This 6-week program provides Camarillo Family YMCA members with the opportunity to work with a strength and conditioning coach once or twice a week in a small group setting. Please call or visit the Camarillo Family YMCA Welcome Center for more information on signing up for this program.

Strength and Conditioning Coaches
Get motivated with our certified strength and conditioning
coaches. Our staff will help you get started with your very
own personalized workout routine, and keep you motivated to

Kick Your Boot Camp
All fitness levels will benefit from fun, fast-paced, challenging workouts structured to increase strength, muscle tone, agility and balance and cardio capacity. Kick Your Boot Camp uses positive motivation to encourage its participants through fun, varied, and challenging workouts, including obstacle courses, cardio drills, strength training, circuits, and plyometrics.
Sign up for six-week sessions, with classes on the following days:

CoRe Classes
Activate and workout the muscles from your pelvis to your ribcage in this great class where all movement comes from the Core. Participants will increase their strength, balance, and flexibility, as well as their cardiovascular endurance. Sign up for six-week sessions, with classes on the following days:
Tue/Thu class at 6pm, cost is $49 members/ $99 community
Fri class (Bootcamp Core) at 9:30am, cost is $28 members/ $48 community

Running Club
Get ready to run with Alicea, by joining the running club! The club will meet once or twice a week in 6-week sessions, which start on 9/20. All levels are welcome. For more information, please call 484-0423.

All-Level Yoga classes
Yogis of all levels will increase flexibility and reduce stress in
any one of our many yoga formats. Our instructors focus on
promoting balance, building strength and gaining endurance in
a variety of Yoga postures. See our schedule for class times.
Studio Cycling
Our YMCA offers a wide variety of cycling classes with different
intensity levels. These classes are designed to challenge the
moderately fit exerciser to the seasoned experienced studio
cyclist. The classes are structured to improve cardiovascular
performance and increase your fitness level through interval
training in and out of the saddle on our state-of-the-art Star
Trac XT bikes.
Pilates
Improve your mental and physical well-being, increase flexibility and strengthen muscles with Pilates. Focusing on your body's "core," Pilates is a refreshing workout and safe for all levels.
PiYo
Linking breath with movement, this class promises to keep your heart rate high, while building a strong core using an athletic combination of Pilates and yoga.
Body Sculpt
Incorporates hand weights and your own body weight for the ultimate resistance program. It's almost like having your own personal trainer.
Cardio sculpt with bands and balls
IThis class features inerval training to build strength and muscular endurance using the Swill ball and resistance bands.
Hip Hop Dancing
A stimulating dance exercise class incorporating the latest moves to get your groove on.
Low impact aerobics
IUsing choreographed routines, movements are layered to increase the challenge of the workout.
Turbokick box
IUsing movements like punches, jabs, and kicks, our Turbokick Box class utilizes muscles you never knew you had. Round out your workout with a Turbokick Box+ Sculpt class, which includes strength training.
Zumba
Join the latest exercise craze, and get moving to this low-impact, high intensity, FUN aerobic class that incorporates international flavors of music and dance.
Active older Adult Activities
Join our energetic instructors for a low impact and gentle
exercise program focusing on balance training, strengthen and
lengthening exercises, light cardiovascular strength exercises.
We offer a rotating schedule which includes:

Arthritis Foundation water exercise
The Arthritis Foundation presents this instructed aquatic exercise class that ses mild aerobic and limited range of motion techniques to soothe those with arthritis and other joint disabilities. This program consists of 10 classes, open to all ability levels.
