The YMCA offers a variety of summer day camps at our locations throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Options include holiday camps, specialty and sports camps, sleepaway camps, leadership camps, travel camps, family camps, day camps, and camps for the entire summer.
The Y is the perfect place for your children to spend their summer away from school. Campers will stay active and busy in our sports, specialty, water, sleepaway, and traditional camps. At Y camp, children can pursue their potential and explore new interests in a safe and nurturing environment. Your children will make lasting friendships and have fun discovering who they are and what they can do. Our camps are accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA) which sets the highest standards in the nation for day camps. This important seal of approval means we comply with up to 300 health, safety, and program quality standards set by ACA (www.acacamps.org). We have gone to great lengths to provide a safe and quality environment.
The YMCA sleepaway camping experience offers an exciting, safe community for young people to explore the outdoors, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills and make lasting friendships and memories. spend a week away with a group of new friends exploring and learning about yourself and the world around you. sleepaway camp is a ymca tradition since 1885 when the first campground was established. at Y camp campers participate in a variety of activities from hiking, rock climbing, swimming, boating, fishing, campfires, leadership development and more.

Isla Vista Teen Center serves as a drop-in center for young people, away from gang activities, alcohol and drugs providing quality after school programs.
My Home at Artisan Court provides transitional housing to youth ages 18-21 that age out of foster care facing homelessness.
Noah’s Anchorage Youth Crisis Shelter, an eight-bed licensed group home, providing temporary shelter for foster children, runaway and homeless youth, and young people in crisis ages 10-17
Support and Outreach Services reaches out to youth living on the streets of our community, offering basic needs assistance, counseling, case management, and referral services as well as assistance with housing information, job search and life skills.
