Camp

For generations, YMCA camps have provided children with rewarding experiences and a lifetime of memories. Whether you’re looking for traditional day camps or specialty camps that focus on sports, arts or other activities, the Y is the place. Our camps feature themes, field trips, arts and crafts, songs, games, and much more. Venture outdoors, learn new skills, have intriguing cultural experiences, work with others, and make new friends at camp. All activities are carefully designed for specific age groups under the supervision of our well-trained staff.

Our YMCA camping programs are accredited by the American Camp Association, meeting the highest standards in camping services in 300 areas, including health, safety, personnel, transportation, and facilities!

Whatever you're seeking, you are certain to find the right camp for you and your family.

Like all Y programs, camp is open to all, with financial assistance available.

Y Summer Day Camp Program 2012

Join the Y as we take on the summer through fun activities and fun learning. This year we will be offering 10 weeks of exciting summer fun with planned field trips and enrichment opportunities such as, but not limited to Coke and Mentos experiment, Anti-Bullying project, and learn a new sport week. Our traditional Friday field trips include the Flower festival, aquatic center, Avila Beach, and our annual over night camping out at Ken Adams park. Resident Camp 2012

The Y makes creating new and exciting experiences for youth our priority. Sequoia Lake Overnight Camp is a perfect opportunity for your child to create new and lasting memories with campers from all over Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Your camper will also have the opportunity to set new personal goals in our YMCA Rags and Leathers program.

Campers will eat family style with their cabin mates in the dining hall and enjoy a variety of fun activities. This all takes place in a safe and fun setting with trained and caring volunteers and professional staff in the mountains above Miramonte, California near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks on beautiful Sequoia Lake. Register today because spots are limited!

Camp Rally: Tuesday, July 26, 2011, 6:00 pm
Ages:   Youth, Entering 4th - 6th Grades
            Teen, Entering 7th - 10th Grades
Dates: Sunday, July 15th - Saturday,July 21st, 2012
Fees: $585 for facility members and $600 for program members, plus annual program membership fee ($30 for single, $50 for family)
