NEW DANCE CLASSES!!!

CREATIVE DANCE FOR PRESCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN
Children will explore basic musical rhythms, arm, and leg patterns while having fun and learning to dance.
Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. for six weeks beginning Sept. 2.

BALLET I (K-1st GRADE)
Children will learn the basic positions, turns, jumps, and short ballet combinations.
Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. for six weeks beginning Sept. 4.

BEGINNING JAZZ DANCE FOR 8-10 YEAR OLDS
Children will learn a basic jazz warm-up, across-thefloor
movements, and a brief routine in each class.
Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. for six weeks beginning Sept. 5.

LEADERS IN TRAINING (LIT'S)
Entering grades 6 to 8 The Leaders in training (LIT) program is designed to prepare your youth to become a Counselor in Training (CIT) while still enjoying the benefits of our traditional day camp. Each camper will be able to work with younger campers on a daily basis as well as participate in their own group activities and field trips. This is a great opportunity to learn quality leadership skills.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT'S)

Entering grades 9 to 12 The Counselor in Training (CIT) program is a hand on leadership program for high school students. Each camper will go through a week long mandatory training course prior to summer camp, be taught CPR and 1st aid, help with implementing camp activities, and learn to be a great leader. Each CIT must fill out a questioner and go through an interview process to determine the best camp placement. Register early spots are limited.

Planning a birthday party? Why not has it at the Lompoc Family YMCA? YMCA staff will help you plan and organize a special and fun birthday party for your child. The children can play games, explore

Kids Gym, or enjoy our very own Bounce House. Parents can participate too, or simply sit back and watch your child have fun with friends. When the activities are over, take your child party into our Kids Activity Room for cake and opening presents. The Lompoc Family YMCA can provide all the activities, decorations and even a special “birthday” gift, while you provide the rest. You bring the children, and we’ll bring the excitement!

Parents provide food, plates, napkins, utensils, and are responsible for the set up and clean up of food.

Reservations are required two weeks prior to the party with a $20 non-refundable deposit. Balance of fees is due the Friday before party day.

“Live Yer Kids Activity Room” (Child Watch only): $50 for members, $75 for non-members, 1 hour

“Fitness Frenzy” (Child Watch & Kids Gym): $75 for members, $100 for non-members, 1.5 hours

“King’s Castle” (Child Watch, Kids Gym & Bounce House): $100 for members, $125 for non- members, 2.0 hours

All packages include decorations, a gift, and structured activities for up to 12 kids.
