DEBBIE BENNETT
Debbie was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri but has been living in Carpinteria for over 20 years. She has 28 years of experience in the fitness field. In fact, Debbie was hired as part of the original fitness staff at the Montecito Family YMCA. Her certifications include YMCA Fitness Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor, Water Aerobics Instructor, YMCA Healthy Back Instructor and Pilates Mat Science Instructor.
Debbie enjoys working with individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
CONSTANCE MCCLAIN, MS, MFS
Constance has been professionally active in the health and fitness industry since 1983. She received a Masters degree in Fitness Management andExercise/Sport Psychology from the University of Oregon and holds three certifications from the Cooper Institute including, Master Fitness Specialist. She was a director in the fitness department at UCSB for many years and developed innovational health & spiritual health education at Ventura College where she is currently faculty.
Constance is a Mind Body movement specialist and a certified Inter-spiritual Mentor with a sincere passion for optimizing clients of all ages in their personalized pursuit and development of lifelong wellness and psycho-spiritual well-being. By blending somatic education with classic fitness and wellness education Constance brings a unique balance into her training model.
ED MITCHELL
Ed was born and raised in Michigan but he has been living in Santa Barbara for over 18 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from California Lutheran University and is a certified trainer with the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
Ed enjoys working with people of all ages and all levels of fitness. As a marathon runner, he has a special interest in endurance training.
Felicia Paige Williams
Felicia combines her background in personal training, massage therapy, dance and yoga in order to provide a well-rounded fitness program. Her integrative techniques allow for a creative, spirited approach to training. She is passionate about working in the health and wellness environment, as she attributes much of her own personal growth to this nurturing, positive atmosphere. She hopes to inspire you to take action, challenge yourself in new ways, hold yourself accountable for your own enrichment and above all, have fun doing so. Felicia encourages you to be kind to your body, breathe, and live more fully in each moment. She emboldens you to foster positive feedback between your mind and your physical body, both in your fitness program and in life. Felicia considers the opportunity to serve you a great honor.
Felicia earned her certification as a personal trainer through ACSM in 2006. She went on to become a certified and Licensed Massage Therapist with The Santa Barbara School of Massage, a Group Fitness Instructor with AFAA, and a yoga instructor and yoga therapist with Sue Anne and Jim Parsins, through Let It Go Yoga in Goleta. In addition, Felicia has a B.A. in English Literature from UCSB and an A.A. in Liberal Studies from Santa Barbara City College.
