The YMCA after school child care program is
for school-age boys and girls. The after
school program is designed with the working
parent in mind. Your child will be given the
opportunity and support to develop self-
awareness, social and physical skills, self-
confidence, new interests and new friends.
The curriculum is designed to provide fun,
enriching experiences while participating in
a variety of activities such as sports, games,
crafts, cooking, field trips and swimming.
This child care program is state-licensed and
staffed by mature, caring professionals.
Three to five day options are available.
Hourly participants are accepted on a limited
basis.
No transportation from school will be
provided, but an adult will walk the children
across the street from Montecito Union School.
Monday – Friday: 3:00 – 6:00 pm

The Montecito YMCA preschool
is dedicated to the
development of the whole
child. Our program provides a
developmentally appropriate
environment which emphasizes
social, spiritual and emotional
growth. Learning to care about each other and themselves in a positive,
loving environment helps build respect for
self and the world around them. Visitors are
welcome. Three to five day options available.
Part-time: 7:45 am – 3:00 pm
Full-time: 7:45 am – 5:30 pm
There is currently a waiting list for preschool.
