A transitional class for children 24 to 48 months old. Parents attend the class with their child while the instructor works with the children. After a few weeks, most children are ready to "go it alone" and Mom or Dad can watch from the deck! Great for children ready to move on from Perch, but not quite ready for Pike lessons.

Private/Semi-Private Lessons

Lessons for all ages and abilities may be scheduled based on pool and instructor availability. Request forms are available at the Service Center. Please call the aquatic office at 687-7720,
extension 230 or 223, for semi-private or package prices.

Gators Swim Team (5 - 15 years)

This competitive team provides challenging group activities focusing on fun and fitness. Workouts include stroke work, endurance, and goal-setting. Groups are divided by age and ability. Swim meets are held throughout the year. Try outs are required to sign up before registering. For more information, contact the Gator Swim Team Coach.

YMCA Wet Ball (Water Polo) (8 - 16 years)

We have a club for kids who want to increase their aquatic skills and have fun! If you are between the ages of 8 - 16 and are swimming at the Minnow level or above, then YMCA Wet Ball is for you! You will learn all the skills necessary to become a great water polo player and have lots of fun while playing scrimmage games during club time. Competition is between other YMCA Water Polo Teams.

Deep Water Fitness

Come stimulate spirit, mind and body in this refreshing form of exercise. Using flotation belts, we walk, jog and workout in deep water. Enjoy the "no impact" effects of water to improve your cardiovascular fitness, balance, muscles and self-esteem.

Shallow Water Fitness

Increase fitness and reduce trauma to joints while exercising in a liquid environment. Natural resistance of the water, plus additional water equipment help to develop muscle tone, strength, flexibility and endurance.

Advanced Water Fintess

Do you like the water, but get bored swimming laps? Are you
looking for a serious workout, but skeptical about trying a water
fitness class? Are you looking to get in shape, but concerned
about the impact exercise paces on your joints? If you
answered yes to any of these questions, then this class is for
you. In advanced water fitness, we incorporate swimming skills,
water polo exercises and synchronized swimming techniques to
provide a full body workout. For more information, contact the aquatic coordinators.

Aqua Flex

Gentle water exercise class designed for people with arthritis, recovering from injuries or surgery, or anyone with limited ability who wants to gain flexibility, strength and endurance. No running, jogging or jumping!

Adult Swim Lessons

A group setting designed to help beginner, intermediate and advanced students learn to swim or perfect their swimming skills. Participants receive instruction to help them with their personal needs and abilities.

Adult Private & Semi-Private Lessons

Lessons for all ages and abilities may be scheduled based on pool and instructor availability. Request forms are available at the Service Center. Please call the aquatic office at 687-7720,
extension 230 or 223, for semi-private or package prices.

Masters Swim/Coached Workouts

For lap swimmers who would like instruction and guidance, masters swim is ideal. These workouts will improve your strokes, times, fitness level and self-confidence in a fun, social setting. Also great for beginner or experienced tri-athletes. Please contact the aquatic coordinators with any quesions.
