Camp
For generations, YMCA camps have provided children with rewarding experiences and a lifetime of memories. Whether you’re looking for traditional day camps or specialty camps that focus on sports, arts or other activities, the Y is the place. Our camps feature themes, field trips, arts and crafts, songs, games, and much more. Venture outdoors, learn new skills, have intriguing cultural experiences, work with others, and make new friends at camp.
All activities are carefully designed for specific age groups under the supervision of our well-trained staff.
Our YMCA camping programs are accredited by the American Camp Association, meeting the highest standards in camping services in 300 areas, including health, safety, personnel, transportation, and facilities!
Whatever you're seeking, you are certain to find the right camp for you and your family.
Like all Y programs, camp is open to all, with financial assistance available.

Away Camp
Youth of all ages are able to develop positive relationships and a sense of belonging. YMCA away camp nurtures the potential of youth and creates a sense of community among campers of all ages through a wide variety of skill building outdoor program activities. Away camp combines well-trained young adult leaders with middle school and teenage campers for an extended number of days in exceptional outdoor environments that provide outstanding physical activity and healthy living experiences. During away camp programs both staff and campers develop lifelong friendships and memorable experiences.
Y away camp offers campers opportunities to build and strengthen positive character values and appreciate the differences in others. Bonds built bring participants back year after year and can lead to lifelong engagement with the Y. Campers of all ages and abilities find success through the skill-building opportunities of camp programs, having fun and learning confidence and values take home from their Y away camp experience.
Away Camp has been giving kids the summers of their lives for more thana decade, adding laughter, leadership and lifelong memories to a host of activities including swimming, archery,and rock climbing. Away camp is the perfect opportunity for your child to get away for the week and create new and lasting memories with campers from all over Santa Barbara and Ventura County.
