Camp

For generations, YMCA camps have provided children with rewarding experiences and a lifetime of memories. Whether you’re looking for traditional day camps or specialty camps that focus on sports, arts or other activities, the Y is the place. Our camps feature themes, field trips, arts and crafts, songs, games, and much more. Venture outdoors, learn new skills, have intriguing cultural experiences, work with others, and make new friends at camp.

All activities are carefully designed for specific age groups under the supervision of our well-trained staff.

Our YMCA Day Camping programs are accredited by the American Camp Association, meeting the highest standards in camping services in 300 areas, including health, safety, personnel, transportation, and facilities!

Whatever you're seeking, you are certain to find the right camp for you and your family.

Like all Y programs, camp is open to all, with financial assistance available.

Camp Fox

Spend an entire week on Catalina Island! Whether your camper stays in the villas or in the cabins, the Pacific Ocean is no more than a few steps away. Camp Fox includes the fun of beachfront swimming, kayaking, inner-tubing, snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, marine lab, fishing, archery, hiking, Frisbee golf, climbing wall, arts and crafts, campfires, the YMCA Rag program, and so much more! Campers will challenge themselves, make connections, and gain confidence

YALP is a rewarding program designed for teens to not only grow as an individual but also as a leader. YALPs will be challenged on an overnight backpacking trip before being placed in the cabins/villas where they will have opportunities to lead and mentor campers. This will be one of the most memorable and fulfilling weeks of their life.

YMCA CAMP SEQUOIA LAKE
July 17-22, and Aug 13-19, 2016

Camp Sequoia Lake

Over 900 acres of forest surrounded by Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks make YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake the perfect location to explore the great outdoors, develop confidence and make memories that will last a lifetime. YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake activities include: sailing, high and low ropes course, mountain biking, rock climbing, archery, swimming, outpost camping, fishing, visit to the national park, painting, crafts, soccer, basketball, campfires, canoeing, hiking, creek walks, field games, skits, songs, chapels, and personal leadership and development.

Campers will share cabins with friends and meet new cabinmates from other Ys providing an opportunity for your child to create new and lasting memories with campers from all over Southern California. YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake creates an environment that encourages heartfelt laughter, interactive learning and personal growth.

Rainbow, Voyager and Adventure Camps!

Each week is filled with  two amazing field trips that are educational and fun.  All registrations are due one week in advance so check back with us next summer! 

Rainbow Camp! Grades K-1 - WEEKLY OVERVIEW OVERVIEW

This camp is designed for the younger camper.  The program provides a great introduction to gorup skills, nature, and the Day Camp experience. Counselor-to-child ratio is 1:6.

Voyager Camp! Grades 2-5 - WEEKLY OVERVIEW OVERVIEW

Join us for a fun-packed summer.  Campers will experience activities that will help them learn, grow, and create memories with new friends. Campers will be challenged by this intermediate camp. Counselor-to-child ratio is 1:8.

Adventure Camp! Grades 5-8 - WEEKLY OVERVIEW OVERVIEW

On-the-go day camp for young adults. This program offers activities and several field trips each week. Counselor-to-child ratio is 1:10.

Specialty Camp! Grades 1-5 - 

These sport camp weeks give students that opportuntity to develop new skills, learn new sports and how to work as a team! Counselor-to-child ratio varies by camp. Day Camps are ACA Accredited.
