For generations, YMCA camps have provided children with rewarding experiences and a lifetime of memories. Whether you’re looking for traditional day camps or specialty camps that focus on sports, arts or other activities, the Y is the place. Our camps feature themes, field trips, arts and crafts, songs, games, and much more. Venture outdoors, learn new skills, have intriguing cultural experiences, work with others, and make new friends at camp.

All activities are carefully designed for specific age groups under the supervision of our well-trained staff.

Our YMCA camping programs are accredited by the American Camp Association, meeting the highest standards in camping services in 300 areas, including health, safety, personnel, transportation, and facilities!

Whatever you're seeking, you are certain to find the right camp for you and your family.

Like all Y programs, camp is open to all, with financial assistance available.

Camp Fox

An entire week on Catalina Island, where campers stay in villas or cabins, just steps away from the Pacific Ocean! YMCA Camp Fox activities include snorkeling (mask, fin, snorkel and wetsuit provided), kayaking, archery, swimming, tubing, fishing, stand-up paddle boarding, climbing wall, low and high ropes challenge course, giant swing, leap of faith, basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, Frisbee golf course, gaga pit, hiking, ping pong, aquarium study pools, touch tank aquarium, large slip n’ slide, tidepools, field games, campfires, skits, songs, dances, chapels and lots of special fun designed for each age level each week.

Registration closes seven days prior to camp start date. Online registration is available. A $75 deposit, per child, is due upon registration. Financial assistance is available for camp.

Camp Sequoia Lake

Over 900 acres of forest surrounded by Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks make YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake the perfect location to explore the great outdoors, develop confidence and make memories that will last a lifetime. YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake activities include: sailing, high and low ropes course, mountain biking, rock climbing, archery, swimming, outpost camping, fishing, visit to the national park, painting, crafts, soccer, basketball, campfires, canoeing, hiking, creek walks, field games, skits, songs, chapels, and personal leadership and development.

Campers will share cabins with friends and meet new cabinmates from other Ys providing an opportunity for your child to create new and lasting memories with campers from all over Southern California. YMCA Camp Sequoia Lake creates an environment that encourages heartfelt laughter, interactive learning and personal growth.

Rainbow, Voyager and Adventure Camps! - Check Back Next Year!

Each week is filled with two amazing field trips that are educational and fun.  All registrations are due one week in advance so check back with us next summer! 

Rainbow Camp! Grades K-1 - SUMMER OVERVIEW

This camp is designed for the younger camper.  The program provides a great introduction to gorup skills, nature, and the Day Camp experience. Counselor-to-child ratio is 1:6.

Voyager Camp! Grades 2-5 - SUMMER OVERVIEW

Join us for a fun-packed summer.  Campers will experience activities that will help them learn, grow, and create memories with new friends. Campers will be challenged by this intermediate camp. Counselor-to-child ratio is 1:8.

Adventure Camp! Grades 5-8 - SUMMER OVERVIEW

On-the-go day camp for young adults. This program offers activities and several field trips each week. Counselor-to-child ratio is 1:10.

Specialty Camp! Grades 1-5 - SUMMER OVERVIEW

These sport camp weeks give students that opportuntity to develop new skills, learn new sports and how to work as a team! Counselor-to-child ratio is 1:8

Summer Day and Speciality Camp - Check Back Next Year!

The Ventura Y offers a variety of different camping options, from Day Camps and Specialty Camps, to our Sleepaway Camp at Sequoia Lake. We now offer a NEW Day Camp option in Oxnard, located at Rio Del Mar. Registration for all camps can be done online for those who are existing Ventura Y members, or can be done in person at our main facility located at 3760 Telegraph Road in Ventura.
