W. E. T. (water exercise training)
This class provides a complete fitness routine that places an emphasis on cardiovascular endurance while incorporating strength and flexibility components. Ideal for individuals seeking an exercise option that is easy on the joints, yet challenging. This is a fun and efficient workoutfor the swimmer and non-swimmer alike. Classes are on adrop-in basis.AQUA MAXFor a more intense water workout, enjoy the “no impact”effects of the water to improve your cardiovascular fitness,balance, muscles and self-esteem. This is our highest levelwater aerobics class.
A.F.A.P (silver splash & arthritis foundation aquatic program)
This warm water exercise program is designed to ease pain, tone muscles and improve joint mobility. A great class for those recovering from surgery, suffering from arthritis orany other ailments.
ADULT LESSONS
Adult swim lessons are available for all ability levels and are designed to meet the needs of the participant. Classes are on a drop-in basis and are included in your membership. Classes for program members are $60 for eight classes. See our pool schedule for current offerings.
The Y offers CPR/AED and First Aid classes through American Heart Association and Oxygen is through ASHI. Certifications are good for two years. See our schedule for details.
