The YMCA continues to grow and evolve, filling the gaps in our communities’ needs so that all have a place to become the best version of themselves. The Y is:
A resource, where people find opportunities to live healthy, exercise, and nurture their spirit, mind, and body.
A safe space, where children are cared for, inspired, and guided.
And a welcoming spot, where people help each other out, friendships are developed, and everyone has a sense of belonging.
With this commitment comes an investment in our programs and services, and in the places we provide those programs and services. Each capital project furthers the Y’s mission by addressing the unique needs of our communities. Capital campaigns present a powerful opportunity for those who wish to support the bricks and mortar that make an enduring investment in kids and families in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
While the Channels Islands YMCA and our branches are not involved in raising funds for a capital project or renovation at this time, if you are interested in donating to make an improvement in our facility, please contact Michael Yamasaki, Executive Director.
