Your health is of the utmost importance to us at the Y. To help you set and reach your fitness goals, we have created a series of three free sessions focused on you. These sessions are a free benefit of your YMCA membership and will help you establish healthy habits to ensure your fitness success.
Y FIT partners you up with a FIT trainer and provides you with fitness essentials to help you hit the ground running with increased confidence.
Our fitness staff will work with you to set attainable goals and working side-by-side, you’ll develop an easy-to-follow exercise plan. Our FIT trainers will guide you through our three-step program to encourage your success.
Session 1: Get Started
In order to help you achieve your fitness goals, it’s important for us to get to know you.
The goals of this session are to:
Get to know your fitness coach and begin your fitness journey!
Discover your goals and expectations to develop a realistic action plan.
Session 2: Let’s Get Personal
You’ve begun exercising, and you’re starting to get comfortable. After spending some time on your own, it’s natural to have some questions.
The goals of this session are to: Introduce you to your recommended personalized exercise program. Answer any questions you may have about exercises, equipment or our facilities.
Session 3: Make it Last
You’ve gained momentum and confidence and have begun to implement your fitness program. This session will help you recognize and overcome the most common obstacles to healthy living.
The goals of this session are to: Review your goals with your FIT trainer. Strategize and introduce additional programs that will ensure your continued success at the Y.
