Join our group fitness classes designed for our Active Older Adults!

AARP Smart Driver Course

Three classes will be held at the YMCA for the 2018 year!

Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions and the roads you travel every day. Some drivers age 50-plus have never looked back since they got their first driver’s license, but even the most experienced drivers can benefit from refreshing their driving skills. That’s why we’re offering a class that will focus on the importance of understanding the basics of the road.

AARP INITIAL COURSE:
September 26 & 27 at 9am – 1pm
November 6 &7 at 9am – 1pm

REFRESHER COURSE
October 19 at 9am – 2pm

Class prices AARP Member: $15
Non-AARP Member: $20
Preferred Method of Payment: Cash or Check

Senior Fitness Classes at the YMCA

SENIOR CHAIR FITNESS
This combination of aerobic and strength exercises, all done in the chair, will keep you fit for life. Offered Monday to Friday with Debbie, join this class to learn how you can practice fitness skills wherever you are!

FIT FOR LIFE
Check out this total body wellness program. Our volunteer instructors bring years of experience, knowledge and caring in a personable manner. Not only will you improve your cardio, strength and flexibility to the sounds of pleasant music, but you will very quickly feel like you belong here and a familiarity with your fellow participants.
