In Kung Fu at the Y, your children will learn exercises for stretching, muscle power, and vital energy and the understanding that movements all have a mental component and a specific purpose. They will learn self-discipline and methods of self-protection.
Martial arts classes at the Y consist of stretches, kicking, meditation, spatial awareness, coordination and rhythm. Martial arts students develop a greater sense of self-respect and inner harmony while learning effective self-defense techniques.
