I went on vacation with my daughter and grandchildren. My 14-year-old granddaughter told her mom I was too young to act this old. So when we got back home I was really hurting.  I have osteoarthritis. On a scale of 1 to 10, I was at about 20. I visited the Y and felt accepted. The Y is for common, everyday people. It’s like your brothers and sisters, a community, a family. No one is trying to show off anything and you’re comfortable, you can be yourself. Everyone should take the opportunity to visit once and you’re sold for the rest of your life. I’ll never stop coming to the Y.
