Adult Swim Lessons

Our adult group swim lesson program is designed to offer comfort and support to those in this new environment.  Whether you are a fearful beginner or would like to improve your stroke, we have a swim lesson for you!  Adult Group Lessons are offered one day per week and they are 1 hour in length. Please stop by and meet our instructor on the pool deck before the lesson starts, registration is not required.

Tuesday 6:30pm-7:30pm
Friday 10:00am-11:00am

Session Fee:

Facility Members: price included in membership
Program Members: $60/session

Aquatic Fitness Classes

Adult Aquatic Fitness Classes are available for all ability levels and are designed to meet the needs of the participant. Classes are on a drop-in basis and are included in your membership. See our pool schedule for current offerings.

AQUA ZUMBA (Lap Pool)
Known as the Zumba “pool party,” the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Along with splashing, stretching, and twisting, shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class! Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the Aqua Zumba class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

AQUA BOOT CAMP (Lap Pool)
This class is designed as a combination of functional land training exercises and lap swimming for interval work to improve cardiovascular, cardio-respiratory and strength. A fun but challenging workout made for anyone wanting to boost their workouts to the next level!

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION AQUATIC PROGRAM (A.F.A.P.) (Therapy Pool)
This warm-water exercise program is designed to ease pain, tone muscles and improve joint mobility. A great class for those recovering from surgery or suffering from arthritis and other ailments.

HEALTHY BACKS (Therapy Pool)
A low impact class designed for those with back pain. This class focuses on core strengthening and stretching to decrease pain and increase spinal stability.

STROKE RECOVERY (Therapy Pool)
The class includes mild strengthening, coordination, and range of motion exercises. Those unable to stand must have a caregiver in the pool with
them. Pre-assessment is required to take this class.

STRETCH & TONE (Therapy Pool)
A low level, non-impact class that includes stretching, ranges of motion exercises and strengthening exercises.

W. E. T. (WATER EXERCISE TRAINING) (Lap Pool)
This class provides a complete fitness routine that places an emphasis on cardiovascular endurance while incorporating strength and flexibility components. Ideal for individuals seeking an exercise option that is easy on the joints, yet challenging. This is a fun and efficient workout for the swimmer and non-swimmer alike.
