Spring 2019 Tumbling & Gymnastics

Spring Session Dates: February 18 – March 30
$35 Facility Membership, $70 Program Membership

Participants will learn forward and backward rolls, assisted headstands, and take part in apparatus activities using the trampoline and single bar.

Itty Bitty Tumbling (2-3 Years)
Tuesday 3:30pm – 4:00pm
Saturday 10:30am-11:00am
Meets in Community Room. Parent participation required.

Tiny Tumblers (3-4 Years)
Tuesday 4:00pm-4:30pm
Saturday 11:00am-11:30am
Meets in Community Room. Parent participation required

Gymnastics I (5-7 Years)
Tuesday 4:30pm-5:15pm
Saturday 4:00pm-4:45pm

Gymnastics I (8-12 Years)

Tumbling and Gymnastics


Oh, to be a kid again!  Tumbling, a form of gymnastics without the use of equipment is so much fun! It develops social skills, reinforces spatial concepts such as over, under, in, out, together, apart; and enhances gross motor skills (movement and coordination).

At the Y, your little ones can learn age-appropriate balance and flexibility skills. Participants will learn the basics of tumbling in a fun and safe way. Utilizing indoor mats, tumblers will discover movements like rolls, stretches, cartwheels and more.


Developing balance, agility and posture can be started very early by signing your kids up for gymnastics at the Y. They’ll build muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination while learning and practicing various moves. In addition to the excellent physical aspects of gymnastics, Y staff will help your child establish or expand focus, courage and self-control.
