Born and raised in Maryland, Amy Bailey Jurewicz moved to Ventura, California in 2001.  A graduate of California State University Northridge, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing, she began her career at the Ventura Family YMCA in 2005.

Over her 18 year career at the Y Amy has served in a variety of leadership capacities and in 2007 was awarded the Channel Island’s Association Director of the Year Award.

Today, Amy serves as Executive Director overseeing a 3.8 million dollar budget, 110 front line staff, 7 full time directors and 5 coordinators.  Amy’s primary focus continues to be creating impactful partnerships with other local nonprofits to ensure that the Y is serving the communities most in need populations and ensuring that no one is turned away due to an inability to pay.
