The Y relies on the generosity of corporate partners and sponsors to help maintain and expand service to the people who need us most. We work hard to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. We can’t do it alone.

  • Event Sponsorship –  We plan exciting events to bring the community together and often, to raise money to support our Open Doors Scholarship program.  Thanks to the monetary donations made by corporate sponsors to YMCA special events, we are able to do more. Events include:
  • Annual Partnership Opportunities – Thanks to monetary gifts to the Annual Campaign, the Y is able to provide scholarships for membership and programs as well as to expand quality services in our region. Recognition for such gifts occurs at our branches and to our membership.
  • Special Partnership Opportunities – Thanks to monetary contributions, corporate sponsors fund programs, such as our three signature initiatives, that benefit specific members in need in our community.
    • LIVESTRONG at the Y – Y staff, trained in supportive cancer care, work with participants to achieve goals such as building muscle mass and strength, increasing flexibility and endurance, and improving confidence and self-esteem.  This is a free program to the participants, fully supported by donations.
    • Third Grade Learn to Swim – The Y partners with local elementary schools to bring third grade students to the pool for free swim lessons, empowering children to be safe around water.  This is a free program to the participants, fully supported by donations.
    • Youth and Family Services – Unlike other branches, Youth and Family Services does not have memberships that pay for the facility and staffing. YFS programs are supported through donations, grants, corporate sponsors and when available, government funding.

To find out more about any of these opportunities to support the work the YMCA does in your community, please contact Jill Rode, Chief Development Officer.
